General information
A rating scale is a set of categories designed to elicit information about a quantitative or a qualitative attribute. In the social sciences, particularly psychology, common examples are the Likert response scale and 1-10 rating scales in which a person selects the number which is considered to reflect the perceived quality of a product.
Find the menu
- Go to the left-hand side menu and select the menu Forms/Rating scale

Create new
- Click the button Create new
An editor for rating scale opens, four main actions to perform:
- Type name
- Select which type Ordinal/Interval
- Add Categories
- Save
Edit heading
- If you want to control each heading, click on the cogwheel button, to the right
Ordinal rating scale
Ordinal means, in order
- Add Categories:
Interval rating scale
Interval means, groups
- Add Categories:
Numeric value
- If you want to create a rating scale with sliders
Save
- Press the Save button
