This article describes how to analyse, create grades and results for an OSCE examination

The Grading menu

  • After closing the exam, refresh the window and click the Grading tab



Exam grading section

Edit station grading


This section lets you change the Total pass mark & set the Station passed. 


Regression intersects mark at: NAN: 

  • Rounded up (NaN): Failing X candidates with the total score of <=
  • Rounded down (NaN): Failing X candidates with the total score of <=


After changes has been added, click the button Save changes



Publish grades to students


After completing the Exam grading section (and also Station grading, see section below) click the button Publish grades to students to send results to students, 


(You are about to make the grades of this exam available to students.. Only proceed if you are certain that pass mark settings for the exam and all stations are final.)



Station section

Before you publish the results to students, you may change the following parameters, by clicking a <station>:

  • Change the Pass mark for the station
  • Mark the station as a Critical station (needs to be passed)
  • Exclude a station, by clicking the button Exclude station
  • After completing the Station grading click the button Publish markings to students to send the "rules" for passing the exam to students,



After changes has been added, click the button Save changes



Results

Modules

To expose the results to students, you need to do the following:

  • Create a Module, in the course occasion
  • Add the OSCE examinations as a component, to the module
  • Publish the module to students
